A few days in Italia.

In January 2016, we participated in the Ethical Fashion Initiative's "Generation Africa" show at Pitti Uomo 89. While there, we took in the lovely sights of Florence and Venice. And importantly, we ate everything we could get our hands on.

A few recommendations:
Hotels:
Adastra in Florence. Located across the bridge, this boutique hotel is excellently decorated and has a wonderfully attentive staff.
Florence Chick Bed & Breakfast in Florence. This bed & breakfast centrally located in Florence, and makes getting to business or tourist locations a convenient walk.

Food:
Osteria del Cinghiale Bianco. A short walk across Ponte Vecchio bridge. Order the Bistecca. Die a happy individual.
All'antico Vinaio. We were told this place has the best sandwiches in Florence. By all accounts, this was not a lie.
